May is for Mutts...AND National Purebred Dog Day, National Rescue Dog Day, and National Pet Week!
We're celebrating ALL Things Dog with a focus on the Humane-Canine Bond: Working Dogs, Service Dogs, Companion Dogs, Pet Dogs, Rescue Dogs, and more! Dog Day in Colonial Beach is kid friendly, pet friendly, and FREE to watch. Each year Colonial Beach "Goes to the Dogs" as a Living Memorial to Sharon Smith, who founded Dog Day in 2011. Enter your dog in our parade and amateur games for prizes - $10 per dog/handler team to participate.
